The plastic-coated copper foil is carefully woven with the help of 24 coils.
The optical coverage is 88%.

Our new coax cable pliers cut the center conductor
very precisely without changing its inner structure.
Thus you can easily place the center pin onto the cable.

Hyperflex 13 is a highly flexible coaxial cable with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. New to 
Hyperflex 13 is a newly created inner conductor that sets new standards in attenuation, the working 
frequency range and flexibility.

The inner conductor (37x0.56 mm Cu) has a flexibility that cannot be found anywhere in coaxial 
cables in the 0.500 inch segment. A new type of three-layer dielectric (TRIPLE LAYER DIELEKTRIC)
see below has an extremely low attenuation.

A plastic-coated, generously overlapping copper foil is placed around the dielectric. The plastic 
coating prevents the copper foil from tearing with small bending radii. A very good copper braid 
is produced on a machine with 24 coils. The optical coverage of the braid is 70% thanks to 168 single
wires.

The coat is made of UV-resistant PVC with a diameter of Ø = 12.7 mm ± 0.15 mm. 
Hyperflex 13 is thus a real high-performance flexible half-inch cable (0.500 '')

The photo shows the structure of the three-layer insulation
 at 150x magnification. The air inclusions in the conductor 
area are larger than towards the outer skin.

The difficulty is not to create a three-layer dielectric 
(as in the picture) "NEW GAS EXPANDED TRIPLE LAYER".

The difficulty is rather to produce a solid, homogeneous 
foam with a vesicular structure in such a way that the 
mechanical high-performance properties between the 2 
transitions of the foam structures are guaranteed.
